So a friend of mine mentioned that Paul Walker turned down the role of Superman back in 2003 (I’m assuming he’s referring to Superman Returns, which eventually saw Brandon Routh as the title character) at the risk of being typecast.
Fast forward seven years and all Walker’s remembered for is starring (and I use that term loosely) in four out of the five The Fast & the Furious films. Oh wait, there was Into the Blue. And Eight Below.
I actually remember him from Pleasantville, The Skulls and, my favourite, She’s All That! All done before The Fast & The Furious.
You’d be the only one! The Skulls I definitely remember him in, but Joshua Jackson and Kate Hudson were standouts there. And he was overshadowed by Reese Witherspoon and Tobey Maguire in Pleasantville; Freddy Prinze Jr. and Rachel Leigh Cook in She’s All That.
