I think it depends on which tabloids you read. I used to be a fiend for the tabloids, buying up big on Monday mornings with NW, Famous, TV Week and Grazia, followed by Who and OK! on Fridays. I’ve now scaled down to the better (read: less focussed on body-snarking and more on what celebrities do all day and investigative journalism) glossips, Famous and Who.
While you’d certainly catch NW pointing out Katie’s stretchmarks (thought I couldn’t tell you for sure as I haven’t picked up a copy in over a year), I was really proud that Who steered clear of that. This week’s Famous even balked at Katie et al’s belief that they’re too fat (whether this is actually their belief of tabloid speculation can be deciphered on the inside of the mag. Shameless plug!).
Hmm, walking through traffic for Marissa Cooper? Rally idea!

I feel exactly the same way when the tabloids went crazy about Mischa Barton’s cellulite. Mischa Barton’s so-called cottage-cheese are just as bangin’ as the rest of that woman’s body. I know she’s the fashion police’s favourite punching bag (because she used to be a California dream and now she’s revealed her mere mortal ways), but I would still walk through traffic to declare my fan girl love for Marissa Cooper.
