Magazine Cover of the Week: V Excited for Hitchcock.

Words can’t describe how excited I am for Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson’s turns as Alfred Hitchcock, his wife, Alma Reville, and Janet Leigh, respectively, in Hitchcock, to be released in Australia in January.

Hollywood has always has a penchant for biopics, but Hitchcock could be next year’s My Week with Marilyn or Iron Lady, and I can’t wait to see the unrecognisable Hopkins in the titular role, and Johansson in the iconic shower scene, which she recreates for V Magazine.

No doubt a promotional shoot for her new movie The Paperboy, in which she plays a sexy jailhouse bride, Nicole Kidman bares almost all for V magazine’s September issue, her modesty protected only by a skirt the width of a wide belt.

Magazines: Cover of the Week—Ke$ha Shows Her Patriotism for V Magazine.

I’m all over this cover as I love me some Ke$ha and Americana, but I do have to question why V used Ke$ha as their cover star, who hasn’t really been pop culturally relevant for at least a year.

In other V news, this issue includes the Snooki “makeunder”, in which the Jersey Shore star wears little to no makeup for a mundanely self-involved interview.

I’m a bit late on this cover, but I love it. It’s not usually a pose you see J.Lo in, but it’s refreshing.
