While bestie Brittany Snow shivers alongside her, Sucker Punch (and nude photo) star Vanessa Hudgens shops up a storm in a maxi dress and gorgeous chunky cardi.
Oh, Kate Bosworth. Whether she’s running erands, topping up the parking meter or indulging in some holiday retail therapy, she really can do no wrong.

This is not the first time Kate Bosworth has made an appearance on “Outfit Envy”, which should be a surprise to no one, as she is always impeccably dressed.
I wouldn’t exactly say I’ve been mourning the loss of winter because it’s been unseasonably wet and cool for this time of year in Melbourne, but it wouldn’t be completely out of the norm to don a chunky patterned knit and boots like Kate does whilst running errands in L.A.
If summer does decide to make an appearance any time soon, there’s always the Southern winter to break out this look.

I’ve always been a big fan of Lauren Conrad’s sartorial style, just like Erica Bartle of Girl with a Satchel, bar the first couple of seasons of Laguna Beach and The Hills, the reality shows that made her famous. Elle calls her the show’s one and only “relatable star”.
Lauren and Whitney Port’s enviable wardrobes were half the reason I watched The Hills (the guilty pleasures of being able to live the L.A. life vicariously through them made up the other half), and Lauren’s “Lauren” gold name ring and braids were incorporated into my own style.
In last week’s Famous, Lauren gets her Ralph Lauren on, with a touch of MNG, whilst filming her latest foray into reality. Loving her tan belt, bag and shoes, Famous asserts that she is the “queen of the super-luxe accessory”. I’ll second that.

I almost wasn’t going to post any outfit inspiration this week, but I had a second flick through Famous this morning, and came across this red carpet pic of Emma Roberts at the Teen Choice Awards last week.
While I think she could perhaps do without the heavy clodhoppers and taken a leaf out of Coco Chanel’s book and taken off an accessory, I do love the lime green dress with tougher accessories, and Emma’s hair and makeup are sub-lime. Geddit?
Ahh, Famous—what would I do without you for “Outfit Envy” inspiration every week?
While this picture of Alexa Chung is a bit outdated, and was also used to illustrate the star’s shrinking frame (this is when she was “fat”), there’s no denying the girl’s got style. While the jodhpur is not a look that flatters my frame, I can appreciate the feminine-meets-masculine aesthetic Alexa’s going for and, in the words of Rachel Zoe, “I die” for her Breton striped shirt, mustard cardi, and what I’m guessing is a Louis Vuitton leopard-print scarf.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is not a celebrity I would normally turn to for outfit inspiration, but her hair is a different story. Her hair in this picture, which appeared in this week’s Famous magazine, makes me want to return to a fringe.
The past week in celeb, off-duty fashion was rife with inspiration, and I’ve upped this week’s quota from one outfit to three! Take a bow, Lauren Conrad in collegiate geek-chic meets beach babe, model Jessica Hart in feminine meets masculine, and the ineffable Nicole Richie in hippie-chic sequins. Christina Aguilera on her arm doesn’t hurt, either.

Kate Bosworth is one of those stars who can do no wrong in the fashion department, and this ensemble is no different.
It’s no secret that I love a celebrity dressed-down and hiding from the paps, especially when they’ve accessorised with a man bag, fluffy friend or grocery bag, as Miss Bosworth has done here.
I also love a Liberty print, casually swept-back chignon, and an Alexander Wang studded Coco duffle bag (in black would be preferable, thanks, but purple is fine, too), and Kate pulls it all together perfectly.
